What to See

Yuanjiajie (袁家界) — The most dramatic area — the pillar that inspired Avatar's floating mountains is here. The scenery is surreal — pillars emerge from clouds like a Chinese painting.

Golden Whip Stream (金鞭溪) — A peaceful stream winding through the forest, flanked by towering pillars. The walk is flat and easy — perfect for families.

Yangjiajie (杨家界) — A quieter area with steep pillars and narrow paths. The "Terrigenous Ridge" is a natural bridge between two pillars.

Tianzi Mountain (天子山) — Panoramic views of the pillar forest. On clear days, you can see hundreds of pillars stretching to the horizon.

• Take the shuttle bus between areas — walking between areas takes hours
