Golden Sand Beach (金沙滩)

Golden Sand Beach (金沙滩, Jīnshā Tān) is one of China's finest beaches — 3.5km of soft golden sand and clear blue water on the western shore of Jiaozhou Bay.

What to See

The Sand — Fine, golden sand that stays cool even in summer. The beach is wide and clean — perfect for sunbathing and sandcastles.

The Water — Clear blue water that's warm enough for swimming from June to September. The beach has a gentle slope — safe for families.

Water Sports — Jet skis, banana boats, and parasailing are available in summer. The beach also has a surfing school.

Sunset — The beach faces west, making it perfect for watching the sun set over the bay. The sky turns orange and pink over the water.
