White Pagoda Mountain (白塔山) rises above the north bank of the Yellow River, crowned by a white Tibetan pagoda dating to the Yuan Dynasty. Stone paths wind through the hillside with rest stops and small temples. The summit offers 360-degree views of Lanzhou and the river.
Walk across Zhongshan Bridge to reach the base. Free entry; cable car ¥20 ($3).
Practical tips
- Take the cable car up (¥20/$3) and walk down. Sunset views are spectacular.
