Qianling Mountain (黔灵山) is a 435-hectare urban park just minutes from Guiyang's city center, famous for its population of over 500 wild monkeys, Taoist temples, and hiking trails through lush subtropical forest.
What to See
Wild monkeys — Over 500 macaques roam freely. They are bold and will approach visitors for food.
Hongfu Temple (弘福寺) — A major Buddhist temple at the summit, founded in 1672.
Summit views — Panoramic views of Guiyang city and surrounding karst mountains.
Hiking trails — Well-maintained paths through the forest, ranging from easy to moderate.
