The Tianjin Eye (天津之眼) is a 120-meter-tall Ferris wheel built over the Hai River on the Yongle Bridge. It's the only Ferris wheel in the world that serves as a bridge, connecting the Hebei and Nankai districts.
The Experience
The wheel has 48 transparent capsules, each holding up to 8 people. One full rotation takes about 30 minutes, giving you time to take in panoramic views of the Hai River, the European-style architecture along its banks, and Tianjin's modern skyline.

Best Time to Visit
Evening (7-9 PM) is the sweet spot. The wheel is illuminated in changing colors, and the city lights reflect off the Hai River below. The surrounding area — Italian Architecture Area, Hai River cruise dock — is also at its most lively.
