What to See

Double Bridge (双桥) — The most iconic bridge in Zhouzhuang — two bridges that form a right angle over the canal. The bridge has been painted by countless artists.

Shen House (沈厅) — A 14-room mansion built by a wealthy merchant in the Ming Dynasty. The house shows how the rich lived in old Zhouzhuang.

Canal Boat Ride — Drift through the narrow canals on a wooden rowing boat. The boatmen sing traditional songs as they row.

Tea Houses — Sit on a balcony overlooking the canal and drink tea while watching the boats go by.
