OCT Loft Creative Culture Park (华侨城创意文化园)

OCT Loft (华侨城创意文化园, Huáqiáochéng Chuàngyì Wénhuà Yuán) is Shenzhen's creative heart — a converted industrial zone where factories have become galleries and warehouses house indie shops.

What to See

Art Galleries — Dozens of galleries showcasing contemporary Chinese art, photography, and design. The OCT Art Terminal is the main exhibition space.

Indie Shops — Unique shops selling handmade jewelry, vintage clothing, custom sneakers, and designer stationery. Nothing here is mass-produced.

Cafes and Restaurants — Hip cafes and restaurants in converted factory spaces. The coffee is excellent and the atmosphere is creative.

Street Art — Murals, sculptures, and installations throughout the park. The street art changes regularly — there's always something new.

• The park is in the Nanshan district — take metro to OCT Station
• Visit on weekends for pop-up markets and live music
• The bookstores here are some of the best in China
• Allow at least 2-3 hours
