Qingjing Mosque (清净寺) is China's oldest surviving mosque, built in 1009 AD during the Song Dynasty. The mosque features Arab-style stone architecture with Arabic inscriptions on the walls.
The prayer hall has beautiful stone arches and a mihrab pointing toward Mecca. The mosque reflects the long history of Arab and Persian traders in Quanzhou.
