Qingming Riverside Garden (清明上河园)

Qingming Riverside Garden (清明上河园, Qīngmíng Shànghé Yuán) is a living museum that recreates Song Dynasty life from China's most famous painting — "Along the River During the Qingming Festival."

What to See

The Town — A recreated Song Dynasty town with traditional buildings, shops, and streets. Actors in period costume go about their daily lives — it feels like stepping back in time.

Performances — Throughout the day, performers stage scenes from Song Dynasty life — weddings, markets, and martial arts demonstrations.

Crafts — Artisans demonstrate traditional Song Dynasty crafts — paper cutting, kite making, and pottery. You can try your hand at the crafts.

The Water Show — In the evening, a spectacular water show recreates scenes from the famous painting with lights, music, and performers.
