What to See
The Square — A vast open space covering 172,000 square meters. The square is paved with granite and features a massive sun sculpture in the center.
The Waterfront — The square faces the Yellow Sea, with a promenade along the water. The views of the ocean are spectacular, especially at sunset.
Century Square (世纪广场) — A smaller square within Xinghai Square, featuring a sculpture of the Chinese zodiac animals in granite.
Xinghai Bay — The bay curves along the south side of the square. In summer, the beach is filled with swimmers and sunbathers.
