Tiger Beach (老虎滩)

Tiger Beach (老虎滩, Lǎohǔ Tān) is Dalian's most famous beach — a crescent of golden sand backed by cliffs and the Laohutan Ocean Park.

What to See

The Beach — A beautiful crescent of golden sand stretching along the bay. The water is clear and warm enough for swimming from June to September.

Laohutan Ocean Park — A world-class ocean park with polar animals, coral reef exhibits, and an underwater tunnel. The sea lion shows are spectacular.

Coral Hall — A massive aquarium with thousands of species of coral and tropical fish. The underwater tunnel lets you walk beneath sharks and rays.

Sea Lion Shows — Spectacular shows where sea lions perform acrobatics, play music, and interact with trainers. A highlight for families.
